Guilds and Committees

Bethlehem House is always looking for volunteers to assist through the following guilds and committees.

Administrative Assistance
Work with Bethlehem House staff onsite or from your home with administrative tasks and data entry.

Baby Boutique Committee
Assist with the Baby Boutique at Bethlehem House. Keep inventory, solicit necessary donations, and organize items on a regular basis.

Bethlehem House Friends Guild (BHFG)
Newly started in 2017, the Friends Guild serves to build community awareness regarding the impact and needs of Bethlehem House. Additionally, the Guild’s committees function to assist with fundraisers and annual events. Meetings take place monthly. Cooking Committee
Serve the women of Bethlehem House by cooking and dropping off prepared food on a regular schedule.

Church Liaisons
Promote the mission of Bethlehem House by serving as the lead contact within your faith community to educate, communicate with, and inform members about our home, volunteer needs, and upcoming events we are hosting.

Event Assistance Committee
Assist in planning and recruiting volunteers to help beforehand and on the day of Bethlehem House sponsored events including the Fall Fundraiser, Golf Scramble, and Beau or Bow event.

Guest Support Committee
Help residents feel welcome and at home at Bethlehem House. Sort, store, and keep inventory of donations regularly, solicit items for, and prepare welcome packets, and deep clean bedrooms when a woman transitions out of the program.

Holiday Helpers
Assist staff during the busy holiday season. Answer phones and the door and accept, sort, and store donations from our community.

Liturgy Committee
Assist with Bethlehem House chapel upkeep and Mass and fellowship schedule.

Men’s Guild
Collaborate with Christian men following the same call as St. Joseph to support our Bethlehem House family by providing for their physical, spiritual, and financial wellbeing.  

MOMMs (Mary Our Mother & Model) Mentoring Committee
Serve as loving and supportive long-term mentors to current and former residents of Bethlehem House. Organize and host ongoing and monthly activities with your mentees.
