Holly Sak is the Executive Director for Bethlehem House. She is a strong, passionate, and tireless advocate for homeless families. Holly holds a B.S. in Nursing from Creighton University. She has worked with at-risk families for ten years, specializing in maternity and early childhood development. She has worked in high-risk maternity for six years at Omaha’s Creighton University Medical Center. For three years, Holly operated as a community nurse and case manager for struggling families. In 2014, Holly was instrumental in facilitating the startup of a Healthy Families America (HFA) child abuse prevention program with the Visiting Nurse Association of Douglas County. Holly maintains the belief that empathic parenting and early nurturing relationships are the foundation for life-long healthy development. Holly has served on the Douglas County Perinatal and Intra-partum Health community boards.
Holly is married, with three children and appreciates the diversity of South Omaha. She is a parishioner of St. Thomas More parish. She is an avid animal lover, with two rescued dogs Penelope and Basil. In her free time, she enjoys antiques, photography, and reading.
