Residents and their families depend on support from our local community, and we have many ways to get involved.
Since 2006, Bethlehem House has helped more than 700 mothers and their babies.
Volunteers are key to our mission.
Volunteer Opportunities

Providing Meals for AfterCare classes or house meetings for our residents makes it possible for them to focus on feeding their minds and souls. You can sign up for these opportunities at the following Sign Up Genius links:
AfterCare - may be a good fit for group volunteering - plan to feed 30+ women.
Family Life - a better fit for individuals and families - plan to feed 15 women.

Volunteers looking to serve our mothers by caring for their infants during evening classes, or as a “mother’s helper” during the day are asked to commit to a regular schedule. Regular caretakers for our infants help our mother’s build trust in childcare and help our children build healthy relationships. Please ask for a volunteer application if you are interested in serving in this capacity.

Help staff in general upkeep and repair of plumbing, electrical, landscaping and other interior and exterior needs. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please request a volunteer application

Help our staff plan and carry out varying aspects of our annual Vita gala.
Help plan and coordinate specialized donation drives and gifts around holidays (Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc.).

Due to the size and needs of our campus, large group opportunities are not commonly available.
